This excursion to the Ouzoud Waterfalls has as its destination this remote corner of the Ouzoud River, which is, in turn, a tributary of the Abi River and the place where these falls are located. Its location is the small Berber village of Tanaghmeilt, in the province of Azilal. The Ouzoud owes its name to the olive groves that cover the valley that surrounds this beauty of nature.
The waterfalls or also called Ouzoud waterfalls are made up of spectacular waterfalls with more than 110 meters of fall divided into three main steps. The 110 meters is an incredible height that makes them the largest waterfalls in North Africa. In addition, its clayey landscape is characteristic, surrounded by rivers and impressive gorges, with a high flow, even during the summer. At the top of the waterfalls, we can find various mills, which are still in use today.
