Morocco 9 Days Tour From Casablanca -Itinerary:

Day 1: Casablanca :

We will start in Casablanca, a city considered the economic and commercial center of Morocco. Its artificial port is the largest in North Africa. Visit the Hassan II Mosque, the highest temple in the world and the second largest after Mecca. Stroll along the Boulevard de la Corniche, the Park of the Nations, and the Anfa neighborhood.

Day 2: Casablanca - Meknes:

We continue to Rabat where we will see the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V that houses the tomb of Hassan II and Mohamed V, the father of the independence of Morocco.

Continue the journey to Meknes, the most humble of the royal cities, which was designated as a Unesco World Heritage Site in 1996. We will go to Moulay Ismail’s Mausoleum and Lahdim Square.

Day 3: Meknes - Volubilis - Fes:

The next visit will be to Volubilis, an ancient Roman city where the best preserved archaeological remains of Morocco are found. The area was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1997.

And we arrive in Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities and the capital of the first Arab dynasty of Morocco, considered as the religious and cultural center of the country. A day dedicated to discovering this fascinating and labyrinthine city full of charms. Fez falls in love with every step, full of artisans and merchants, getting lost in its souks is a sensory experience.

Day 4: Fes - Sahara Desert:

We leave Fez to head for the desert. The first town we will find is Ifrane, known as “the Moroccan Swiss” considered an exclusive place for well-off tourism. Arrive at Azrou National Park where we will admire the cedar forests with their friendly inhabitants, the Atlas macaques.

Continuation of the trip through the beautiful Ziz Valley brimming with date palms and its impressive Tafilalet Oasis. They say that after the Nile itself, Tafilalet is the second-largest oasis on the African continent. We will arrive in Erfoud, the last city before the desert, and a few kilometers away, the golden dunes of Merzouga will welcome us to the desert.

Sunsets, dromedary rides, desert Berber celebrations, and nights resting in tents await us during our stay in the desert, along with much more. The stunning sunsets and sunrises from the sand dunes are sights we will never forget.

Day 5: Sahara Desert - Dades Valley:

We say goodbye to the desert to start the route towards the Gorges of Todra, but not before visiting the traditional market of Rissani, near Merzouga. These gorges are recognized worldwide for being one of the most spectacular rocky canyons. The panoramic road that leads us to them offers beautiful views.

We go across the Atlas Mountains to the Dades Valley, stopping at the Tinghir Palm Grove along the route. The classic kasbah, filled with adobe fortifications with crenelated towers and brick ornamentation.

Day 6: Valley Dades - Ouarzazate:

We will begin our journey to Ouarzazate from Dades. We’ll travel via Skoura’s lush Palm Grove to the 17th-century Kasbah Amridil, one of Morocco’s best-preserved. Then we’ll travel through the Valley of Roses until we arrive at Ouarzazate, where we’ll be greeted by the city’s magnificent Kasbah Taourirt.

Day 7: Ouarzazate - Marrakech:

The next day, we begin with a visit to the lovely Ksar of At Ben Haddu, a Berber town that was designated as a Unesco World Heritage Site in 1987 and is famous for being the scene for various films, including Laurence de Arabia, Gladiator, Cleopatra, and La Joya del Nile, among others. The journey to Marrakech through the Tichka Mountain Pass will give us spectacular landscapes.
