Know Before You Go

  • This 3-day desert tour needs at least 4 people to start. If there are not enough people, we will contact you 2 days before the trip to reschedule, upgrade to a private tour, or give you a full refund.
  • You will get the trip details 2 days before departure.
  • Your luggage will travel with you. In the desert, it will be taken to your camp by a 4x4 vehicle, so it will be waiting for you when you arrive by camel.
  • The camel ride to the camp takes almost 1.5 hours.
  • If you do not want to ride a camel, we can take you to the camp in a 4x4 vehicle for free.
  • We suggest bringing sunglasses, hats, and good walking shoes for the trip.
  • No need to bring a sleeping bag or towel. We provide them for all guests.

Itinerary

Shared 3 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech

Day 1:Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Roses Valley – Dades Valley

After an early pick-up from Marrakech, we head through the majestic High Atlas Mountains and Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, stopping for photos along the way. Our first major stop is the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We then head to Ouarzazate for lunch before passing through the Oasis of Skoura and the Rose Valley, eventually reaching Dades Valley for the night.

Day 2:Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Sahara – Camel Trekking – Luxury Desert Camp

We start with a scenic drive through Dades Valley and a visit to the Todra Gorges before continuing to Merzouga. After lunch, a camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi awaits. Watch the sunset over the dunes and overnight in a luxury desert camp with Berber music around the campfire.

Day 3:Merzouga – Marrakech

We recommend waking up early today to watch an amazing sunrise over the Erg Chebbi Dunes—a truly unforgettable experience. After enjoying a tasty breakfast at the camp, we will depart by 4×4 vehicles and head to the town of Merzouga. From there, we will begin our journey back to Marrakech in our previous air-conditioned minivan. Our shared 3-day desert tour from Marrakech will conclude upon arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
