Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Sahara

Our trip begins with a morning pickup from your accommodation in Fes. First, we will go to Ifrane, a town known as the Swiss of Morocco because of its alpine-style architecture and cool climate. Next, we will visit the Cedar Forest in Azrou, where you can see monkeys. After a lunch stop in Midelt, we continue driving through the scenic Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass alongside the Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves. In the afternoon, we will arrive at the Sahara Desert in Merzouga. You can take a camel ride and see a beautiful sunset over the golden dunes. At night, stay in a luxury desert camp. Experience Berber music, dance, and enjoy a traditional dinner under a sky full of stars.

Day 2:Merzouga – Nomads – Khamlia – Erg Chebbi Dunes

We recommend waking early to watch the magical sunrise in the Sahara before returning to Merzouga via camel trek or 4×4. After breakfast, we set off to explore the desert region, including a visit to a traditional nomadic family, where we will experience their unique lifestyle and hospitality over a cup of Berber tea. Next, visit Khamlia village, where we will enjoy a Gnawa music performance showcasing African-influenced rhythms. We will have the chance to visit local cooperatives that produce rose water, essential oils, and perfumes. We continue to Skoura, famous for its lush palm groves, and visit the historic Kasbah Amridil, one of the most preserved kasbahs in Morocco.
