Day 1:Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Kasbah Taourirt – Ouarzazate

On our 4-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, we start with an early pick-up from your riad or the airport in Marrakech. Firstly, our trip will take us through the beautiful High Atlas Mountains. We will cross the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, which is 2,260 meters high, and stop to enjoy the stunning views. Our first main stop is Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site famous for its old architecture and appearances in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After visiting the Kasbah, we will go to Ouarzazate, which is called the “Gateway to the Desert.” There, we will see the Taourirt Kasbah. We will enjoy a tasty dinner and stay overnight in a comfortable riad, preparing for the exciting day.

Day 2:Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Alnif – Merzouga Desert – Camel Trekking – Stay in a Luxury Camp

On the second day of our 4-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, we will visit Atlas Studios. This place is known for being the filming location of many Hollywood movies. After that, we will go to our luxury desert camp. We will enjoy Berber music and a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars. We will stay overnight at the camp.

Day 3:Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Boumalne Dades

On the third day of our 4-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, we will watch a beautiful sunrise and enjoy a tasty breakfast in the desert. After that, we will ride the dromedaries back to Merzouga. Next, we will drive to Rissani, which used to be the capital of Tafilalet. There, we can explore the busy market. Afterward, we will continue to Erfoud, known for its fossilized marble, where we will visit a local workshop. We will take you through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad to the stunning Todra Gorges, known for its towering red cliffs ideal for rock climbing. The camel trekking in the Sahara Desert was just perfect! Our guide Mustapha was knowledgeable and made sure we were comfortable at all times.
