Next, we will explore the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where we can encounter and feed the playful Barbary macaques. After a tasty lunch in Midelt, we’ll continue through the beautiful Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and stunning views. In the afternoon, we’ll arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll take a camel trek through the tall Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset. This unique ride takes you to a luxury desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars. After a camel ride back to meet the driver, we’ll visit Rissani, a bustling market town with a rich history as the former capital of Tafilalet. Explore its lively souk, which operates on specific days and offers a glimpse into the traditional Moroccan trade. Next, we will stop in Erfoud, famous for its fossilized marble workshops, before driving along the Ziz Valley, where we’ll pause to admire panoramic views.
