We will greet you when you arrive in Fes and take you to your riad in the center of the Medina. Fes is Morocco’s cultural and spiritual capital, known for its historic sites and busy markets. If you arrive early, you can explore the old streets of the Medina. Artisans make traditional goods here, and the air is full of spices. Beautiful buildings, including ancient mosques and madrasas, show the city’s rich history. Enjoy a walk through the souks or visit a rooftop café to view the skyline. Relax at your riad in the evening and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner. Our team is ready to give recommendations and help with any requests to make sure your journey starts smoothly. After we have breakfast, we will take a guided tour of Fes. Fes is one of Morocco’s oldest cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will begin our visit at the Royal Palace. Then, we will explore the Jewish quarter, the Mellah, an important part of Fes’ history. Next, we will enter the medieval medina through Bab Boujloud (the Blue Gate) and walk through its winding alleys filled with markets, mosques, and historic schools. Key stops in the area include the Medersa Bouanania, the Najjarine Fountain, and the Chouara Tanneries. At the tanneries, people still make leather using traditional methods. We will also see Al Quaraouiyine University, known as the oldest university in the world. Finally, we will go to a viewpoint that overlooks the entire city. After a full day of exploring, we will return to the road, where you can relax and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner.
After breakfast, we travel through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains for the Sahara Desert. Our first stop is Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine-style buildings and cool weather. Next, we visit the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where you can see Barbary macaques in the wild. We continue our drive through Midelt and along Ziz Valley, where green palm groves contrast with the desert landscape. By the afternoon, we will arrive in Merzouga, at the entrance to the Sahara. Here, we take a camel ride through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and enjoy a stunning sunset. At our luxury desert camp, we experience warm Berber hospitality, listen to traditional music around the campfire, and enjoy a tasty dinner under the stars. This magical desert experience is one of the best parts of our trip.
We wake up early to see the beautiful sunrise in the desert before riding camels back to Merzouga. After breakfast, we go on an off-road trip to visit nomadic families living in the desert to learn about their way of life. Next, we head to Khamlia, a village famous for its lively Gnawa music from sub-Saharan Africa. After enjoying a live music show, we explore the nearby dunes of Erg Chebbi. Here, we can visit a fossil mine, see wild desert lakes, and drive through stunning landscapes. We then take a relaxing walk through the palm groves, where date palms offer shade and life in the desert. In the afternoon, we return to our hotel in Merzouga, where you can relax or join optional activities like sandboarding or ATV riding before spending another night in the desert.
After breakfast, we depart from Merzouga and drive to Rissani, an important trading town and the birthplace of Morocco’s ruling family. We will visit the bustling market, where you can find dates, spices, and handicrafts. Next, we will pass through Erfoud, which is known for its fossil workshops, before heading to the breathtaking Todra Gorges. This stunning canyon has cliffs that rise more than 300 meters, making it popular with climbers. We will walk along the river, where the green plants stand against the rugged red rock. After lunch, we will take a drive through the Dades Valley. We will pass Berber villages and enjoy beautiful landscapes. We will stop at the famous “Monkey Fingers” rock formations before arriving in Boumalne Dades. There, we will check into our riad, where you can relax and have dinner with views of the lovely valley. We will spend the night in Dades.

People pick thousands of roses during this festival to create perfumes, oils, and beauty products. We will stop in Kalaat M’Gouna to visit a local cooperative and learn how they make rose water. Next, we continue to Skoura to explore the Kasbah Amridil, a well-preserved fortress from the 17th century. We arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco” because it has film studios. Movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones were filmed here. We will visit the Atlas Film Studios and the historic Kasbah Taourirt, which showcases impressive architecture. We will check into our riad in Ouarzazate at the end of the day. You can relax and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner there.
After breakfast, we will visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This ancient village is made of clay and has appeared in many Hollywood films. We see a well-known landmark in Morocco. We walk through narrow alleys and then drive through the High Atlas Mountains using the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest road in Morocco. It features detailed tilework and lovely gardens. We will visit the Saadian tombs. This site is where the family of Sultan Ahmed al-Mansour is buried. After that, we will see the Koutoubia Mosque. It is the largest mosque in Marrakech and is famous for its tall minaret. We will wander the busy souks, where artisans sell spices, textiles, and handmade goods. We will also visit the peaceful Majorelle Gardens, a beautiful garden that Yves Saint Laurent once owned. After the tour, you will have free time to explore independently. Consider visiting a hammam spa or relaxing at a rooftop café overlooking Jemaa el-Fna. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner with live music before your overnight stay in Marrakech.
Today, we visit Essaouira, a beautiful city by the coast. It features white buildings, a busy harbor, and sandy beaches. On our way, we stop to see argan trees. Goats climb trees to eat fruit. We also visited a women’s group that makes high-quality argan oil, a local specialty. When we arrive in Essaouira, we see the Skala Fortress and walk through the colorful alleys of the medina. We also visit art galleries that show local crafts. You can eat fresh seafood at the busy harbor or relax on the beach. Optional activities include riding camels along the shore or windsurfing. Essaouira is a calm place to relax after visiting the desert and cities. We arrive at a riad in the evening to enjoy a quiet night’s sleep.
After breakfast, we will leave Essaouira and drive along the Atlantic coast to Casablanca. Casablanca is Morocco’s largest city and its economic center. When we arrive, we will visit the Hassan II Mosque. This mosque is one of the world’s most impressive and partly built over the ocean. It has beautiful architecture, detailed mosaics, and a large prayer hall. It is a must-see. After our visit, you can explore Casablanca at your own pace. You can walk along the Corniche, visit the modern Morocco Mall, or check out the city’s Art Deco buildings. Also, you can relax, enjoy dinner, or experience the lively nightlife tonight. You will spend the night in Casablanca.

We visit the beautiful Kasbah of the Oudayas and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, an impressive royal tomb. After lunch, we head north to Chefchaouen, the well-known “Blue City” in the Rif Mountains. This charming town has blue-painted streets and offers a peaceful atmosphere. You have time to explore the medina, visit local shops, or relax in a café with great views of the mountains.
