Morocco Agogo Tours Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern all bookings and services offered by Morocco Agogo Tours (“we,” “us,” “our”), a registered Moroccan travel agency headquartered in Ksar Merzouga, Taouz, Rissani, Morocco. By making a reservation or using any of our services, you (“you,” “your,” or “client”) agree to be bound by these Terms on behalf of yourself and all participants included in your booking.

Reservations & Contract Formation

  • A contract exists once we issue a written confirmation after receiving your initial deposit.
  • The person making the booking warrants that they have the authority to bind all travelers named in the booking to these Terms.

Booking Procedure & Payments

  1. Quotation & Invoice
    • Upon agreement on the proposed itinerary and price, we send a detailed itinerary and pro‑forma invoice.
  2. Deposits
    • Private Tours, Day Trips & Activities: ≈30 % deposit due at booking.
    • Shared/Group Tours:25 % deposit due at booking.
  3. Balance Payment
    • Payable locally to our staff before tour departure.
    • Accepted currencies: EUR, USD, GBP, MAD.
    • Card / PayPal payments onsite incur a 5 % processing fee; remote card payment for shared tours incurs 20 % VAT + 5 % fee.
  4. Payment Methods
    • Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, or bank transfer (wire).

Changes to Your Booking

  • Submit change requests in writing as early as possible.
  • We will endeavour to accommodate changes free of charge, but they may be subject to availability and additional costs.
  • If changes cannot be made, you may maintain the original arrangement or cancel.

All cancellation notices must be received in writing (email or WhatsApp message with read receipt).

Unforeseen Circumstances & Force Majeure

We may cancel or modify a tour due to force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, war, civil unrest, epidemics, or extreme weather). In such cases, all monies paid, including deposits, will be refunded in full, and no additional compensation is payable.

Special Requests

  • Please notify us in writing of any dietary, medical, mobility, or accommodation preferences before booking.
  • We will relay requests to our partners, but we cannot guarantee fulfillment. No compensation is due to unmet preferences.

Child Policy

  • Shared tours & day trips: Children under 12 are not permitted.
  • Half‑day shared activities: Children are welcome.
  • Private tours: Families with children are welcome.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service without refund if the child’s age was misrepresented.

Insurance

We do not provide travel, medical, or baggage insurance. You are solely responsible for obtaining comprehensive coverage for illness, cancellation, delays, personal injury, and loss or damage to property.

Our Responsibility & Liability

  • We are responsible for supplying services outlined in your confirmed itinerary with reasonable skill and care.
  • Our liability for loss, damage, or injury is limited to the total amount paid to us for the affected service. It excludes indirect or consequential losses unless otherwise required by Moroccan law.
  • We are not liable for acts or omissions of third‑party providers, events beyond our control, or your failure to obtain valid documentation.

Travel Documentation & Entry Requirements

  • You must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your entry date to Morocco and obtain any required visas.
  • Refusal of entry, fines, or travel interruption due to incomplete documentation is solely your responsibility.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Personal data provided during booking is processed by our Privacy Policy. By booking, you consent to the sharing of your data with hotels, transportation operators, and other partners strictly to deliver the contracted services.

Complaints & Dispute Resolution

  • Report service issues immediately to your driver, guide, or accommodation provider so we can resolve them promptly.
  • If the issue remains unresolved, please contact our office by phone or WhatsApp at +212 6 69 00 98 62, or email us at info@moroccoagogotours.com within 7 days of the incident.
  • Disputes not amicably settled are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Moroccan courts.

Governing Law

These Terms and any contract to which they apply are governed by and construed by the laws of Morocco without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.

Acceptance of These Terms

Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms by you and all travelers in your party. If you disagree, please do not proceed with the booking. For details on how we collect and handle personal data, please refer to our separate Privacy Policy page.
