One of the experiences that family trip with children like the most are riding a dromedary. Although it is common to refer to these animals as camels, they are their cousins and only have one hump, unlike the two that real camels have, which live in different parts of Asia. Let us remember that dromedaries have traditionally been the best ‘means of transport to cross the desert, and even today we use them to reach the most remote places in the Sahara, such as the Erg Chebbi dunes.
