Easter Week In Morocco 2023 – Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait aourir – Tadart – Ouarzazate – Dades gorges

After breakfast, leave the hotel and travel southwest across the High Atlas, also known as Tizi-Ntichka, a 2260-meter-high mountain range. Then we go on a 30-minute Trekking trip to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which is an earthen clay settlement on the ancient caravan route from Sahara to Marrakech.

This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and some of the structures resemble castles, while others are simple cottages dating from the 1600s, some dating back as far as 1000 years, that lead directly to Ouarzazate and Kasbah Taourirte. In the afternoon, we go via the Valley of the Roses to Dades Gorge. A hotel or riad is where you will be staying.

Day 2: Dades gorges – Tingher – Tengdad – Erfoud – Merzouga

Depart from the hotel/riad after breakfast for a visit to the Toudra Gorge and the Palm Toudra. We’ll go to Erfoud via other Berber communities, including Trinidad and Ait Hane, after these trips, A visit to a fossil factory.

We’ll travel a piece of road from Erfoud to Merzouga in the afternoon, which is known for its magnificent sand dunes. We get treated to two days of pure magic in this Berber paradise once we arrive in the desert. We’ll be able to travel routes and dunes, be astonished by sunsets and starry skies, and live with the pleasant people of the desert. Accommodation near the sand dunes in a hotel.

Day 3: Merzouga – Khamlia – Mefis – Merdane – Nomads

We will depart from the hotel in our 4×4 to visit the Sahara Oasis, where black people who fled from Sudan many years ago and now live in small settlements would like to share their traditional music with you by performing it for you.

Then we’ll head to the back of the dunes on the Paris Dakar Rally course, where we’ll be able to sip cups of tea with Nomad families. We will release the 4 x 4 and take the 8 x 8 (camels) to cross the massive desert dunes, which will take an hour and a half to reach your tent in the desert; free time to admire the dunes; later, following dinner, you can join the Berber drum party under the stars.

Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

After breakfast and that beautiful sunrise among the dunes, you return to the hotel by your camels.
Then, we continue on our journey to Ouarzazate.
On this trip, we may visit the historic Rissani market, the palm Ankoub, and the Great Draa Valley. A hotel or riad is where you will be staying.

Day 5: Ourazazte – Ait Ben Haddo – Agdal – Marrakech

While we finish our breakfast, we depart from our hotel. We’ll continue on our approach to Marrakech in the same direction, crossing the High Atlas once more and stopping at a few panoramic views or wherever you choose. Arrive in Marrakech and stay in a Riad or other lodging near the Jamaa lfna square for the night.

Day 6: Marrakech

After breakfast, depart from the riad on a guided tour of Marrakech’s imperial city, stopping at some of the city’s most notable sights. Staying in the same Riad or Hotel throughout the duration of your trip.
Next, we transfer you to the airport.
