It’s hard to imagine anything more inspiring than a Moroccan-style bivouac with all the conveniences, pitched in a wide desert of almost lunar-looking stone, with the Tents (camping) set against the majestic snow-capped Atlas mountains. You will lose track of time in this strange and wonderful area.
Agafay is located approximately 40 kilometers outside of Marrakech, and throughout this tour, we will discover how the environment changes as we travel from the city to the countryside. Although we name it desert, travelers should be aware that we are not referring to the conventional dunes found in the Sahara; rather, it is more than a barren desert plateau.
This semi-lunar terrain, which stretches for many kilometers, provides an excellent atmosphere for those who want to enjoy outdoor sports or spend the night in camping tents under the stars.
We will take you up from your hotel or riad at 4 p.m. to begin our adventure to the Agafay desert. Thus, we will arrive at our destination after just over half an hour of visiting the parched Moroccan landscapes.
After marveling at the majestic landscape in Agafay’s desert, we’ll have a one-of-a-kind experience riding a dromedary. Awesome! We’ll go to our tiny paradise, which is a cabin illuminated by candles, later.
Then we’ll all gather around the table for a delicious meal prepared using traditional Moroccan cuisine.
We will accompany you back to your hotel or Riad in Marrakech after a fantastic and amazing evening.
Pick-up and travel to the hotel or riad are included in this activity. We’ll drive you back to your accommodation at the end of the concert, assuming it’s accessible by vehicle. Otherwise, the driver will drop you off as close to your lodging as feasible.
