Join us for a 6-day tour itinerary from Fes to Marrakech and discover Morocco’s beautiful scenery and rich culture. We’ll start in Fes, stop in Ifrane, and walk through the Cedar Forest before having lunch in Midelt. Then, we’ll follow the Ziz Valley to the Merzouga Sahara Desert, where you can ride camels and spend a night in a luxury camp under the stars. Along the way, we will visit Rissani’s traditional market, see fossil workshops in Erfoud, and take in the views at Todra and Dades Gorges. We’ll also stop at the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou before crossing the High Atlas Mountains and ending our adventure in lively Marrakech.

Upon arrival in Fes, we will pick you up from your accommodation or Saiss Airport and begin a guided tour of the city. Discover the Royal Palace gate of medieval Medina (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and enter through the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud). Explore the Medrasa Bouanania, Nejjarine Fountain, the traditional Tanneries, and the Quaraouin Mosque & University—the oldest university in the world. Visit the Mellah (Jewish Quarter) and enjoy a panoramic view of Fes from an ancient fortress before returning to your riad for the night.
After breakfast, we will travel through Imouzzer to visit Ifrane, often called the Swiss of Morocco. Then, we will stop at the Cedar Forest to see and feed Barbary macaques before continuing to Midelt for lunch. We will drive through the scenic Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass along the Ziz River, arriving at the Merzouga Sahara Desert in the afternoon. We will enjoy a camel trek across the golden dunes at sunset before settling into a luxury desert camp. Finally, we will have a traditional Berber dinner and enjoy drumming around the campfire under the vast desert sky.
We recommend waking up early to see the sunrise over the dunes before departing for Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet and home to a bustling traditional souk. We will also visit Erfoud to explore fossil workshops before driving through the palm groves oasis of Touroug and Tinjdad. Next, we will arrive at the spectacular Todra Gorges, a paradise for rock climbers with towering red cliffs. After lunch, we will continue through the Dades Valley, stopping at the famous “Monkey Fingers” rock formations before reaching your charming riad in Boumalne Dades for dinner and an overnight stay.
We will start the day with breakfast, then visit Rose Valley, known for its big Rose Festival in May. Next, we will pass through Skoura Oasis to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert,” and visit its famous movie studios. We will explore Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a cool ancient village seen in movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After lunch, we’ll drive through the High Atlas Mountains on the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2,260 meters) and reach Marrakech by evening. Overnight stay in a riad in Marrakech.
After breakfast, we will take a guided tour of Marrakech, a UNESCO World Heritage city. We will visit famous places like the Koutoubia Mosque, Ben Youssef Madrasa, Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace. We will see street performers in the busy souks and Jemaa el-Fna Square and taste local food. There will also be free time to explore parks and museums. Before returning to your riad, we will visit the modern Gueliz district. Overnight stay in a riad in Marrakech.
On the last day, after breakfast, you may have time for shopping or sightseeing based on your flight schedule. Your riad stay includes breakfast, and our driver will provide a private transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport, marking the end of your incredible 6-day journey.
