Next, we will visit the Cedars Forest, home to playful Barbary macaques, where you can enjoy some time feeding them. After lunch in Midelt, we will continue our scenic journey through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass and along the Ziz River, famous for its lush date palm plantations. By the afternoon, we will arrive in the Merzouga Sahara Desert, where you will enjoy a camel ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi at sunset. Your evening includes a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars, followed by Berber music and drumming around the campfire. Overnight stay in a luxury desert camp in Merzouga.

Day 2Merzouga – Nomads – Khamlia – Erg Chebbi Dunes – Palm Grove

Wake up early to catch the magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, ride camels back to Merzouga, where your driver will be waiting. Spend the day exploring the Merzouga region, starting with an off-road drive to visit an ancient kohl mine. Next, visit a nomadic family’s handmade woven tent to enjoy Berber tea and learn about their traditional way of life. Our next stop is Khamlia Village, where you can enjoy the mesmerizing Gnaoua music and dance. Afterward, we’ll visit  Palm Grove and the seasonal Flamingo Lake, just a few kilometers away.
