The view begins in the JARDINES DE MENARA, one of the city’s most popular and well-known gardens, located southeast of Marrakech and built by the Almohads in the 12th century. Then we’ll head to Marrakech’s modern district.
The MAJORELLE GARDENS, designed by the French artist Jacques Majorelle in 1922, is located here. To get a better picture, we’ll go to EL PALMER, a massive extension populated by strange palm trees that appear to have been transplanted, Marrakech’s palm grove surprises for reigning in such parched terrain. Today is a free afternoon. In Marrakech, you can stay in a hotel/Riad.
